Hi all,

I'm wanting to know ways I can improve my blog, here it is:
Phil Benwell - Internet Student

It is based on my studies at University mainly but also has a few other random posts in there.

Ideally looking to increase traffic and comments.

Be harsh (but constructive) I can take it.

PS. It has been posted before but when it was relatively new and I have just made some alterations.

Traffics
1)Contents determine your traffics ,because it is a core of your blog ,nothing is important than content.
2)You continue on what you are doing right now which is participate in the forum-try to share ideas as many as you can but must be useful to forum members.
3)Join social networks such as stumble upon,blogcatalog,facebook and so on.But,you can't join it whole day .You should arrange your time wisely.
4)Entrecard-You can use it as a tool to social with others blogger because they gather in one place which you can know them easily.In terms of traffics wise,it drives traffics but don't rely on it to drive traffics only.

Comment-
1)You can't force people to leave comment but you can encourage.Put at the below of your post to advise to reader to leave comment such as"I would love to hear from you,please feel free to leave comment.Thanks and enjoy reading".
2)Leave comment to other blogs sincerely,once the owner read your comment s and feel that you are sincerely leave it,most of the authors will leave comment back to your blog.

Behind the header ,there are some codes .You do it purposely?It looks neat and organized.There are plenty of free template ,you can download it and use the template.

As mentioned there is some wording behind your title ... I like your blog all I can suggest is more pics .

The coding is HTML, it is meant to be there it is part of the image. I am a student learning web design so like the idea of the code being there. Does it look like an error when loading?

More pics in the post is probably a great idea.

Hey,

I just visited your site Phil, and it is a decent looking site. As people said before, you should probably include more images in your posts themselves. It seems like you're building some pretty decent content too.

For some reason, the google ads on both sides just don't do it for me. Have you thought of putting both sidebars one one side? Just a suggestion. Other than that, keep up the great work!
