I'd get rid of ads, or about 90% of the ads that you have. (Image of your own page attached) Is this what you want? Inc*st books? It might be time to start over. Please check others' blogs here too so you can see some variety between non-monetized, and monetized blogs. It's important to look at both. (My own blog has no ads, is PR 4)

Hi there, I completely agree there is to many ads onyour blog. Also the pictures they just link to another page with the image the same size. I would remove the images links and also the borders around the pictures. But I have only looked at your blog for 2 secs. Good Luck with it |

Ads are extremely off putting - I couldn't even review your content or your presentation. Definitely try and do something about your ads, otherwise you'll find that people will simply leave your site before reading anything on it. goodluck

The ads are an instant turn-off, it makes the rest of the page feel unimportant. Your posting area, that which should be the focus of attention is small and makes it get lost among the ads...again...on a positive note the background is well chosen but it could be a bit more opaque to not distract from your posts...think of your followers, what do the want to see Still I wouldn't follow your blog, weddings & marriage are 2 of the things I dont believe in and think they are a joke...just an honest opinion. |

Your site is loaded with ads. Think of sites you like to visit. I'm sure they don't have such large ads right at the top of the page before you even get to the meat of the site. Also, your site is about love and romance, so make it look as pleasing as possible. The blue and red you use for your header are too bright to be sensual or romantic. Your background image is very lovely, so try making the other colors of the site match with the cake. Pastel pinks, white, and green all look good together. Make it welcoming for your readers. |

You still have ads that feature a book about inc*st, and your site is almost totally unchanged and is overwhelmed with ads. Did you want any feedback on your site? You can see it's unanimous in this thread that your blog has too many ads.

So, I read everyone else's reviews and knew I'd encounter a lot of ads. I agree with everyone else: get the ads off the front page! They're really distracting! Melody advised me to remove ads from my blog (and I only have one or two small ones), and within a couple weeks, my daily views jumped and I got more followers. So, listen to what others are saying. They're wise. Design: I agree with LoungeOwl. The red/blue title isn't inviting. It's harsh and gaudy looking. But I really like the background of the blog; it's gentle. So go with it and help your header fit that color palette. Content: My favorite post was the one about your wedding. It was personal to me. The other posts are just way too broad to really mean anything. For example, when I read "Three Factors for a Long Distance Relationship," I kept thinking, "You're skimming the surface, and you have some great ideas... but it's just not detailed enough!" Go deeper into your content. It'd also be helpful if you had some personal anecdotes to support all this advice you're giving Other: Please be careful about grammar/spelling/punctuation/capitalization. I know I'm incredibly attuned to this as an English teacher, so forgive me if I'm being too picky I noticed, though, that you didn't capitalize "Bible" in one of your posts. Perhaps it was just a typo, but some readers (myself included) get turned off by it, especially if it happens a lot (I also noticed you didn't capitalize "Christian"). Sometimes I found your writing to be confusing, too. Example: "Don’t get paranoid and put your trust on him." Does this mean, "Don't get paranoid and trust him," or "Don't get paranoid! Put your trust in him." See how the meaning is unclear? Be careful of that when you're writing Personally, I'd love to see a bit more personality in your blog. I see that you have a son, too- it'd be neat to hear about how to keep the romance going when a kid enters the picture. I really don't mean to be harsh; I think your blog has the potential to be good. It just needs some focus and some tweaking Good luck!
