New design for an older blog

I have redesigned my personal blog, Ramona .. web development, business, life | web design, blogging, forum management, life matters, after letting it "rot" for many months. Right now I am planning on posting DAILY, have new posts scheduled and started promoting more in order to increase traffic and PR and of course make some more. Am in the process of selling some of my other sites so that I can focus on this only.

I'm not a fan of tag clouds - I kind of think they look messy, and are not useful. I realize that's a very subjective matter of taste.

You have a great "about" page - You really do a perfect job of explaining the "why" behind your blog, and you even clear up some confusion about whether English is your first language. I would only say that the "about" page is a little long.

Your lay out is easy to read with prominent comments clues on the left (The numbers) but you could even consider making the "recent comments" appear in a side column.

Your niche is a tough one to succeed in. Lots of people have a blog about blogging. It's incredibly hard to separate yourself from many really well-established professional blogs. You're off to a good start, but if you've got another niche that you're passionate about, it might be easier to stand out from the noise with a different topic.

Melody, thank you for the tips and constructive criticism. The blog will not be on blogging solely, it's gonna be a 'general' one. I haven't prepared the articles about our travels, movies etc. I have a posting schedule of 1 post/day and every day is "dedicated" to a "niche". In one week my entire structure will be easier to see, since the articles will be published.
