So besides my poetry blog, I have a personal blog that discuses mainly relationships, love, dating and other misc. topics pretty much whats on my mind. I just did a new layout and designed my header. All feedback welcomed

Well your header is likely going to attract more men than you realize, so don't narrow your audience too much!

I would definitely agree with this statement. If you're trying to target a mainly female audience which, you say you are, I'd think about your title and your header image. They both play up the sex role and target men specifically.

There's nothing wrong with this if that is what you have intended but, I'd make sure you tailor your content towards a male audience.
