Default The Zen Effect

Hey everybody! Here goes nothing. I hope you all enjoy my blog, The Zen Effect, please let me know what you think about the layout, overall design, and content.

It's only a few days old but I try to update it daily sometimes twice a day if possible. I hope to be adding a lot more to it in the future. I am going for a peaceful clean look so I hope that's what I have achieved. Thanks for the opportunity and remember if you like my blog please add it to your daily routine!

Thanks a bunch I will definitely do my best to keep posting (hopefully daily). It's true a lot of people (myself included at times) need to just remember these things step back and destress.

Hey, overall I think your blog looks very nice. Sharp looking theme and a lot of good features. I don't think your ads are too intrusive, but maybe you could work them in with your existing color scheme a little better?

One thing that occurred to me: Since you already have the widget on top that scrolls through your recent posts, maybe you could just display the full posts on your front page? I know there are advantages to having summaries, but I also know a lot of blog readers just want to read your posts on one page without having to click through to new pages. Since you already have the thing at the top, I thought it might be a good idea. Anyway, just an idea.

Other than that, looks good. Definitely work on regular content: that's how you build good readership.

Thanks for the thoughtful review. I do agree with you about the jump pages I dislike them myself. I like the overall theme of the site though I will take a look at editing the code to display the full post on the main page. Hopefully I can figure it out ;0.

EDIT: I figured it out! Took a little while as I'm not very proficient in coding templates but alas I cracked the code. Again I thank you for your thoughtful critique of my blog and hope everyone else can continue to give me feedback as I'm open to opinions and want to make this the best blog I can make it!
