Starting a New Food Blog

Dawud's Halal

A blog for halal recipes and products from around the world. I'm still in the processes of setting it up, but it seems that wordpress has been installed seamlessly thus far, and the theme is in good working order.

In addition to hosting a food-related blog where I can attract advertisers, I am also using this as a practice run for using wordpress.org and using more customization.

All right:

In order to get the ball rolling, I've put up my very first content: the About page, and as of now, one recipe for a simple Russian salad. I am still working on some slight improvements, but at least things are up and running for now.

There seems to be a problem with accessing wordpress accessing the database or something, so once that gets worked out, I can upload pictures.

YumCoffee, I like your blog; if you will be offering mostly vegetarian recipes, I may decide to add you to my blog roll. I've left a comment there about Miso Soup.
