You have a very interesting blog. I love your background. It feels it is a reflection of the Scottish flag and I love the size of your font text. I think you have chosen a great topic to talk about, providing information about Scotland to others. Have you been to most of the places that you discuss?

A tip: I think it would be really useful if you mentioned what part of Scotland these areas are and directions to nearest main cities and transport hubs, (ie: North, South, 100km from nearest airport, station etc.) as for someone who has never been there it would be very useful, and it would also help the person to establish the sense of direction of this area in Scotland. Also useful for potential visitors.

Have you thought about writing your own experiences in regards to visiting these places? As that may also give it a touch of personalism, and let others know what it's like once visited. Just a thought.

Overall it's a very useful blog with a concise and clear objective, to provide information about Scotland.

I love the blog and the information. Other than that keep up with it. I like that its not like a lot of blogs I have checked out with a millions ads everywhere and you got a lot of pics. Defiantly a nice blog, I had to follow it. I am pretty new to the blog seen trying to get my feet wet!

Ryan you have a pretty great blog. I particularly loved your blog post on the Inveraray Jail. Now that sounds like a fun and unique tourist attraction.

I've never been a total fan on those widgets that say things like, "Seattle has just arrived" - You've got one of those in your side columns. I guess people do that so that there are more clues of visible traffic, but my preference is for a far cleaning looking blog. You're getting a number of comments on your posts, and so that works too so that people can see you've got visble traffic.

All in all, you're off to a fabulous start. It looks like you've been blogging about 3 months now. My two cents is that it is a little early to have a bunch of ads on your site, however, I know many here would disagree with me. I will say you've pretty much figured out good ad placement so that it is not too intrusive with your content.

I gotta say, I really like this blog. Perhaps I'm a little biased as my family comes from that part of the world, but I like the layout in general.

I like the colours used, enables the blog to be easy on the eyes and flows well through the content. The side bar perhaps is a little cluttered, but for a newer blog, clearly off to a great start.
