I think your blog needs more direction and personality on the front page. Right now it looks like one of those pages that shows up in a pop-up add. Your 'about' page says you'll be using it as your personal page, but I don't see anything personal in it. Even your entries seem less like they're coming from you, and more like they're written just for the readers. For me, when I read a personal blog, I'm reading it to learn about the person's adventures in life - not to get any advice/advertising for myself.

I do like the home page layout though. It's easy to navigate.

P.S. Double check your spelling before you post. There are grammatical/spelling errors that detract from reading (i.e. Denzal instead of Denzel Washington).

I think my about page mentions I want to blog any topics with magazine style. So it is not a personal blog talking about my life only. I do agree that it looks a bit fuzzy at the moment. That's because no categories assigned and still playing around with the layout etc. Aiming to get more posts so the layout can look better with better categories.

Agree with checking, rushing to write something and not checking it. Bad mistake!

I think a lot of people who start blogging always thinking it is about your personal life. Let's see some of the successful bloggers who write for readers.

Problogger by Darren Rowse --> his blog is about how to blog
John Chow --> his blog is about how to monetise your blog
Mashable --> this is another social media blog

So it is interesting to see where blogging is always associated with personal life but successfull bloggers do not normally talk about their lives. They actually teach people about something and write for their readers.

To generate a lot of traffics from personal blogging is quite hard as well unless you are a famous person. That's the reason why a lot of blogs are abandoned after a short appearance on the net.

Interesting blog. I love your template displaying all your content. Will you be thinking of adding a banner, to make your blog more unique and stand out?

There is definetly an array of information on your blog, so that matches what your blog is about. Kudos to you for doing exactly what you feel, and writing about whatever comes your way.

I wish you the very best of luck with it. One thing, have you thought about renaming some of your categories? As if you are writing about specific things, than they may be more easier to find in a specific category i.e. travel, books etc...

Your blog confuses me a bit. It does. Your content really really bounces around in content. Did you write all of that yourself? It's just such an incredibly diverse number of content posts. One minute you're talking about appetite suppression, the next minute George Clooney, the next minute racial tension in south Africa, and the next minute a bike.

Also it's not easy to see WHEN an item was posted. Imho, dates should be visible on blogs. You have a page one and page two, but it seems like you'll need some sort of archive tab or widget. ??

Your content is very clean to read, and easily laid out. The photographs all look like photos you might have picked up from google searches, and thus possible involve copyright violations. I khow everyone does it, but still doesn't mean that it is okay.

You're definitely off to a great start. You write well and present the information in a clean and appealing format.
