i just think the template is lost after you scroll down, I like the top part tough!

A few tips
1. Take the hit counter off until you start getting more visitors. It may make people doubt your blog's quality because you don't have a lot of hits. We don't want that. You write good stuff. Let them figure it out.
2. Move your blog bio above the google ad.
3. Consider replacing the blog's subtitle with something relevant to the blog content. For example. "Dark and offensive humor, laugh or you're next.." Remember, when a person lands on the page they look around for about 5 seconds. If they can't figure out what they want to read or what it's about within those 5 seconds they leave. The more you have explaining what your blog is and drawing people into reading something, the better. You might even want to change the color of the first line in every new blog entry. Bold yellow or red might work. This way their eyes go straight to that instead of other distractions and they start reading.

Well, we changed the color of the articles to make them stand out from the titles. All I originally wanted to do was change the title color, but our provider doesn't have an option for that. I'm afraid that changing the article colors is too much for the eyes. Check it out and tell me what you think.

Question: How do you ping something? I keep reading about pinging your blog to search engines, etc. I'm not sure what that means. Can someone explain this?

I don't know for sure what it does, but i think when you ping your blog it updates your information on search engines etc...
