Would Love Feedback On My Blog

Hello! I've been working on my photography blog for a few months now and have never got any real feedback from the blogging community. It's a little different from a lot of blogs in that it is primarily designed around showing off nice big images...and I've done away with any sidebar... but if you explore the pages a bit you can see that it is also capable of supporting written good posts.

I've actually spent quite some time tweaking my own blog theme, so if you like it enough and are in need of a theme like this you are welcome to download it.

Please be as mean or as kind as you feel like!

i absolutely love your blog! (and commented on it!) the pictures are beyond gorgeous, and you're able to capture so much in one frame. i don't anyone can say a bad thing about the photography. i do wish you wrote more about it, though, because people would definitely come to read it

Thanks guys! The two photographers I am promoting deserve all the credit for the photography on my blog - I hope to post some of my own portrait work on there soon - meanwhile, Jacky you are right - I need to write a bit more instead of relying solely on the pictures... I promise to get inspired in March and write some good stuff.

Those are beautiful pics, and a great design too. Though right now it doesn't look like a blog; Rather, it looks like a webpage. I don't see any distinct archive, or updating regular post in some kind of date order.

I have to agree with the others. The pictures are amazing. But as the rest said I think it would be very interesting for people to read about the pictures or a little story concerning each one. And you could change the comment section a little bit. It's not bad but I think it could blend better to your content especially to your pictures.

I just went to your website. I liked it a lot. You are a talented photographer. I liked the varied photos. I enjoyed scrolling down to see all of them. I did notice that there were a couple of repeat photos on the page though, that you may want to delete.

Also, when I clicked on Blog Theme it went back to the first page (photo page). I don't know if this is supposed to do that or not. The Links area did that too, although maybe it is supposed to do that. Resources does not have anything under it. About does not have anything either. There may be more like that. I wonder if it is possible to make the titles there on your tabs maybe go to the most popular page under the words. Just an idea. You can always just put one or two links on these sections just for now.

Your photos are beautiful. I can see maybe a Nature page, a Wedding photos page, Seasons, and Other tabs here so people can see your photographic versatility. I wish you the very best of luck on your site! I think it is a very professional and fun site.

Thanks Betseyanne for taking the time to have a look at my blog. Thanks for pointing out the menu bar issues - you are totally right, I have to sort out the linking of the menu tabs a bit more thoroughly - it takes an outside pair of eyes to see something this obvious - that's why I love this forum filled with people who care!
