That is a great idea for a blog, and you've picked some interesting items to feature! I like the watches by Odom. My only question would be to you is that since your blog features pictures of the visually interesting, how are you managing the copyright issue? I realize the likelihood of anything happening to you is very small (and these days most blogs, including my own, have a few copyright violations here and there) but you're using pictures that someone else took and featuring them: Legally the pictures are owned by the person who took and can't be reused without permission. I like the calendar on the side panel for easy access to find archived material. It looks like you've been blogging about a week! Keep up the good work. Good luck!

I actually was a little concerned about that. Some of the pictures I took myself and the pictures of the watches were from the press section of their website free for use but I have been careful choosing images. Do you think the images on my blog would be considered "fair use"?

The top logo hurts my eyes, but once I scrolled down I liked the images. The site scrolls a bit slower the more you go, maybe add some pagination to help with page load? |

If you are worried, you could try seeking out images that _are_ explicitly free - WikiMedia Commons has many many thousands of images that are free (not necessarily copyright-free, but the strongest demand is usually that you credit the creator), for example, and some people allow use of their Flickr images, and there might be other large free image repositories. I've more than once looked at something fabulous on WikiMedia Commons and been tempted to put it in my blog just because it's fabulous, even though it wasn't relevant to anything that I had to say. In your blog, it would be relevant. |

Another comment - the design of "useful objects" or "useful articles" can't be copyrighted in the United States. This is a messy thicket and I'm not a lawyer, but i think that it means that your photo of your headphones would be fine - they're a useful object, their design is inseparable from the object, and you took the photograph. (I think?) But your photo of the T-shirt with the image on it would not necessarily be fine - the T-shirt is a useful object, but the image could be separated from the shirt and copyrighted. (Plus, I think that you didn't take that photo(?), so the photo itself would be copyrightable.) Messy thicket. But it might be worth Googling, to reassure yourself about the legality of some things.
