Hi all,

I began writing a book when we found out my wife was pregnant, detailing my feelings and experiences in a humorous way whilst giving out practical advice to fathers. We get a bad press a lot of the time and there's very few books out there targeting expectant fathers. I'm fortunate in that during pregnancy my wife has turned into just the angry hormonal Hulk that gives me good material to use

I recently put extracts online as a blog and wondered what you all thought.

Hey, good subject...lol!! Would surely read all ur posts...and really nice to feel that there are expectant fathers like u for whom ur wife's pregnancy is a big thing...unlike, fathers who think as if only making a woman pregnant is their job, rest is upto the lady...grrr...All the best...

Great idea! It's true that there aren't nearly as many daddy bloggers out there and very few books targeted toward them, so you've definitely chosen a great niche.

Ben, I love the post about her coming into the kitchen with the stick, waving it too close to your tea, and calling you "Benny". (I'm sorry I had to visualize a cup of coffee and not tea but the imagery still works). And then later nearly driving off the road while reading text messages from her about it!

The one funny thing - or perhaps you wont laugh at this - When I saw your blog title "Goodbye, Pert Breasts" without reading further I thought of something else. Of course the question in my mind was, "Where did they go?" and And when I saw your thread title of "Goodbye, Pert Breasts: The Diary of a Newborn Dad" I thought, 'oh, this me about someone who underwent female to male gender surgery, and now is a dad and not a mom to her children.' Luckily, I was wrong about all of that.

I've put a banner heading on the blog now with a big ol' photo of a baby to avoid anyone else becoming puzzled!
