I'm struggling with figuring out how much content to publish and how often. I worry that I will soon run out of things to write about because my niche is fairly narrow. Would my blog hold your interest at all (assuming you like Starbucks) if I wrote only 2 posts in a week? Any comments at all about the blog?

As I have said before your blog is great. It looks so professional, but I really don't think you would have more than two post a week. You need to make sure you have quality over quanity. How much new stuff is there to write about Starbucks each week? I think it is better to give good quality information instead of a bunch of filler. Keep up the good work.

My "Is it work checking the bookmark?" threshold is at less than one post a week. So I think two posts a week would be fine, especially since you have lots of comment traffic to console people that visit and don't find a new post.

I think I said this before too, your blog is great! I think once I go to college and get pulled into the whole Starbucks mania I'll be reading your blog always for info. But since you're blogging about Starbucks, if you run out of ideas, wouldn't it be Starbuck's fault? Haha. But don't worry about it, you'll get through it. Most great writers suffer from writer's block.

I really like this blog. 2 posts per week I reckon is pretty OK.

I think that you have a good mix in your blog. You are not just writing about your product. I don't know how much latitude that you have because of the Starbucks brand. But your content is good.

I clicked on your blog in my thread in which you have offered me some good advice, but I just realized you had a thread going as well. I really love the header on your site, which to me is one of the most important features of a site (other than content of course). Personally, pages with boring headers/layouts really cause me to lose interest before even giving me a chance to get interested in the content. On your site though, I actually read through some stuff despite the fact that I don't even drink coffee. Oh and also, when viewing your blog in Firefox, the content in the sidebar is moved up a little bit, causing the "Subscribe by Email" heading to move out of the sidebar block a little bit (and on top of the twitter birds feet!). |

@ScottK - No one has ever mentioned my header before. You mean where I have "Starbucks Melody" written? The font is "white horses" which is available as a free download if you google that. Tori Amos' first album, Little Earthquakes, uses the font throughout it. She apparently had the font made for the album, and much later it got distributed all over the web. That font has been around since the 1992 release of "Little Earthquakes" but unless you're a hardcore Tori Amos fan, you've never heard of it. I love using it when I can find a use for it. Reminds me of music I like, and it's pretty unique.

| Yea, I think the brown and green at the top of the page go well together.
