Feed back on a theme

Hi Guys,
I do have a couple of blogs, but I was after feedback on this theme not the content, I have made some free themes available here and will add this one soon.


I am learning to create WordPress themes, this one is looking quite good, home page (1000px wide) has extra widgets as well as the 'Feature Content Gallery', header adsense, Sidebar - all pages except the home page 250px

• Home Sidebar - home page 300px wide
• Posts sidebar - 250px
• Home Middle - widget possibly for text 700px
• Home Bottom Left - I have the Category Posts Widget 350px
• Home Bottom Right - I have the Category Posts Widget 350px
• 4 Footer Widgets - for latest posts etc 250px
• Full Width Template Page
• Custom Header
• Header Adsense

Any feedback from you experiences bloggers would help me produce better templates, layout, different color schemes, plugins that cause problems to test, etc:

very nice theme. i liked the colors. you can put the search button on right of the search area. and add category menu on right sidebar.

and if i were you, i will not use artisteer or another program. notepad++ is best for a theme developer.

as I have just started with creating themes I find artisteer good to create the general layout.

I am using Notepad or Editplus3 to do the changes, artisteer only adds 2 sidebars but does the styles quite good, I am working on another sports theme now red, yellow and black thinking ferrari fanzine or something, with 15 widget content blocks.

I am not going to use these themes just make them free, hands-on is my preffered learning method and is more a tool to learn some wordpress, html and php skills.

What I learn will give me content for a blog breaking down the changes and publish tutorial blog posts.

I don't like the colors combination but maybe is just me..the black and orange just..I don't know
