I'm at it again

I have created a new blog (that makes 3 in 4 months, I must be insane!). In all honesty - I actually started my blogs to help me learn to write better, in preparation of writing my book.

However, this blog is a little different for me. I wrote the rough draft of my book about 6 months ago and let it sit. This is my autobiography - memoir, whatever. I decided to journal the process of how an unskilled writer can take an idea and create something in the end. My book definitely has a theme - it is how the alcoholics around me have influenced my life (parents, spouse, family members). I have not uncovered that theme yet in my blog.

This blog will have no ad's, and as you see it is a freebie. I really didn't think I needed to buy a domain name for this. I picked a simple theme in about 1 minute and made a few posts. I hope to post something every day - no pressure like my other blogs - and it is just in journal format.

i like how simple the layout is, but could you expand your main area to make the posts a little wider?

Awesome concept. Perhaps some day you could take all the blog entires and put them together in a book of their own for new writers. The content here is likely going to be great, so your main issue will be getting the word out. Consider trying to get links on website that promote free resources for new writers.

On second look, you should add something to the website that tells people what it's about. You have such a great idea here, people will really like it, if they know what it is....

You have an about me section but people won't click on it unless they have a reason to think it will be worth their time. Maybe under the About Me link you could place a small snippet like "Follow me on my journey to writing and publishing my book and experience the roller coaster of becoming a new author. You could do it too, and I'll lead by example." Obviously you can write something better than that but you get what I'm pointing to. A quick summary of why they should care and how it benefits them to read your blog.
