I built my blog with Word Press and used the Arras theme as a template. I tweaked the CSS a bit in an attempt to solve my problem, but I can't seem to figure out the Internet Explorer bugs. I would appreciate it if you guys browse through it for a minute and let me know if you find any more bugs. Your feedback is much appreciated. Thanks. Crown Multimedia Agency | OFFICIAL BLOG |

What happened to IE? After IE I used FF but now with GC because IE and FF became so slow...I love their features and I hope they can catch up with GC. In FF I have problems although it is a bit faster than IE but the problem is sometimes it gets me hanged and I cannot click any hyperlinks..What I do is control-alt-delete for the task manager and close the browser! |

I just looks at the Browser Statistics for a couple of my websites: My Blog website 67% Internet Explorer and 12% FireFox My Themes website 15% Internet Explorer and 54% FireFox From these I can see that Bloggers and anyone looking for Themes are more likely to be using FireFox as first choice, but the general blog reader is most likely to use Internet Explorer, so you really need to test your blog in IE and FF, I have replied to two post in the last couple of days where the theme did not render correctly in IE8 and could cause high bounce rates and be losing 50% of visitors. I only use Safari these days. After Apple fine-tuned their browser and released the 64 bit version for Snow Leopard it is faster than even Google Chrome. Safari also has a very pleasing page renderer. When you have problems with IE layouts it is almost always because of the box model problem.

Do you test your website changes with other browsers, as browsers are a matter of choice and the one with the highest number of users is packaged free with Windows, the main thing to make the visitors experience a good one is to use a theme and widgets that work with the most popular browsers. As a blog owner or business you have to research and look from the visitors perspective by getting feedback for the theme and widgets, being viewed and tested in the main browsers, this is important as the visitors will not let you know, they just close the browser and hurt your bounce rate. If I had a dollar for every website I closed before I read any content, because the home page loaded to slow due to design, heavy graphics, or to many flash applications, bad layout or unreadable colors I would be so rich. This forum is good for this when "Showing off you blog" you get constructive critique! David
