Help needed on theme critique

One thing I would add, maybe color and tone down the google ad blocks to blend in a bit more with the theme, I found them distracting

Andy I just wanted to tell you a little story about something that happened today. I went out to dinner with a friend in Seattle - She's a dear friend of many years and regularly comments on my blog at StarbucksMelody.com.

My friend saw your post on my site, clicked on your name and followed the link to your blog. She too was intrigued about what you're doing! A bakery in Mozambique! We got to talking and she commented she would be back to visit your site again because it's so interesting what you're doing! Just thought you'd enjoy hearing about that!

i noticed the seattle hits on google analytics,

@adeptris - i've been looking to change that and have taken out adsense on my blogger dashboard but the ads are still there!

Nothing wrong with AdSense blocks providing that they are not too 'in your face', I am a wordpress user not sure about blogger, and there should be a way to set the colors to match your theme and change to one block per page somewhere.

@SweetCelebGossip - I recommend that you CAREFULLY read everything before you post, and then carefully make posts answering the topic in the thread. Believe it or not, this might help you.

The reason this will help you is because if you become interested in someone else's content, and maybe leave a comment there, that person might leave a comment back on your blog.

For example, this thread is about Dibbs blog. Go visit it! He has a great blog!

This thread is a perfect example of what I mean: This thread is about Dibbs98's blog! He's running a bakery in Mozambique!

Oh my god he just uploaded two adorable pics of his pet monkey.

I keep coming back to this thread because I'm enchanted by his bakery in Africa!! WOW! In fact, I just sent an email to some friends here in Seattle pointing out his blog, because it's so unique.

You've made 2 posts in this thread, and I haven't seen you do anything that even hints you've looked at someone else's blog, or carefully read what threads are about.

Seriously, if you want people to look at your blog, you should be willing to take a step back and find blogs here that you like too, and talk about them. Maybe slow down and not spam this site with "Look at my blog".
