Well, your blog is very plain right now, but that is too be expected for such a new blog. Things that you need to work on: 1) Use of images. A good rule of thumb is too make sure that your image is never more than half the width of your text area. Right now the text area is so thin and the image in that top post is so wide that the text is crammed into a little area that only holds two or three words per line. You should make that image smaller so that it doesn't push the text over like that. In the post editor click on the image and then drag the lower right corner up to rescale it. 2) Start thinking about the blog title: "The Gun Cat" isn't something most people are going to search for. You should use keywords in the title, something such as: "The Gun Cat - My adventures with modern warfare." 3) Blog theme. That theme you are using is extremely boring and plain. Also millions of other people also use that theme so your blog doesn't stick out. Try using our Google Blogger/Blogspot template site to find a more attractive theme. You'll be glad you did: http://www.bloggeries.com/forum/blog...ate-sites.html

#1 and #3 are much better! Good work! You just need to work on #2. By title I mean the page title that appears at the top of the browser window, or in the tab name. That title is very important in Google search engine results. That is the place where you want to add "Me and Modern Warfare 2"

EDIT: I figured out how to change it by changing the title of my blog. However, when I do this, it gets all scrambled up on the page. I don't want to change the size of the title because I really like it how it is. Is there any other way? Last edited by GunCat; October 31st, 2009 at 01:17 PM.. |

Alternately you can go to Layout->Edit HTML->Expand Widget Templates then look for: <title> Replace everything between and including <title> and </title> with the following: Code: <title><data:blog.pageName/> - <data:blog.title/></title> <b:else/> <title><data:blog.pageTitle/></title> That will change just the page title on the browser window without changing the actual text title that folks see on the page.

Thank you very much, I did it! Do you have any other feedback? Also, you seem to know quite a bit about blogging. Do you know where I can go to get custom images made so I can use them for a header, instead of a plain old title? |

I have always used: Web2.0 - Logo Creatr But that is designed for making light Web 2.0 header images. I really don't know if that would fit the theme of your blog. You can give it a try though and see if you like it.

Yes, it doesn't really work well with my theme. Thanks for all the help though, and if you have any more feedback, please share it. Thanks!
