A Tour of College

Note: My blog has some four-letter words and gaudy topics, but hey, this is college

I know the format sucks, but I'm mostly looking for feedback on the material. I was inspired by the satirical blogs I regularly read on Rudius Media.

My friends and many people I meet randomly in college generally think I'm a riot, but I'm not so sure how my humor translates to text. If you haven't been in college lately, some of this might be lost on you.

I have at least a dozen other articles saved on my computer that I will add later.

Also I forgot to mention that I structured it like a campus tour. Each of my articles will address a place of interest on campus or off-campus.

Sounds good. Yes, I agree the design could do with a little work but the topics sounds great.

I read your blog and it definitely keeps to its topic, which seems to be a put-down of most other college students and things on campus. I think it is mostly tongue-in-cheek humor. You could make this blog better by avoiding unnecessary swear words - - more people would stay on the site and join as followers, if you want that.

My favorites are The Dining Hall and The Dorms.

You could put some ads or photos on the right side of the blog to make it more balanced and/or interesting - maybe photos to illustrate your stories would jazz it up some more too. Good luck with your blog! It has a lot of potential.

Great idea for a blog, I really liked the Gym post. Adding a header pic or some pictures to the posts would definitely add alot to your blog.

I was thinking about adding photos, but the layout makes everything I add lengthen the page excessively. I can't use the spaces around my columns, because those are apparently used for gadgets and ads.

I haven't considered placing ads because my traffic is still below 100 hits a day.

Badhair; I originally had anonymous comments enabled, but I kept getting spammed by this one person. In the stats page this same person uses multiple IPs and sits on my page for hours at a time each day. I have a blog stalker apparently.

I figured that the curse words would not turn off my target audience, which is high school and college kids. We use that language on a daily basis

Well I just discovered that I can allow Anonymous comments and still moderate them to avoid spammers
