Need Your Opinion Guys...

Hey everyone,

My blog has been using the premium theme for quite a while but now I am thinking of changing it. Please share your piece if the "soon-to-be" new theme just looks fine. Here are the screen shots:

Hmmm. I honestly like the old (or current one- I'll call it "green") one better, looking at them both. Green just seems much cleaner and therefore more organized in comparison to the new one. It's brighter and will draw in readers better. That's just my opinion.

I have to agree with Rachel, although the new shots look more 'designed' I think it is too much. The first one is easy to read and digest information, the second one would work better for a photography or art blog...

Maybe spruce up your header on the first one? There is some room there to add a few more design elements.

At first I thought the blue and green one was the new design - and liked it

Then I realized it was the one your were dumping - big mistake - the new one is crap

ok thanks for the comments and suggestions.. ACtually its not really the new one, its the 'soon-to be' theme... anyways, its 4-0 in favor of the old one..

Sorry Melvin, I kinda like the old/current one, too. I like the soon-to-be theme, but I don't know if it's right for 'your' site. Maybe keep looking for another theme that gives you a face-lift? The new one just looks more like a personal site to me....or a newspaper-y feel.

Guess I'm the only one who actually likes the second theme better. I like the personalized touch and effort that went into the design....although I can't say I agree with the brown colour....

I also like the way the ads are "contained" in a box, rather than being in an open space. Ads in an open space always make me feel like they are going to "pop out" at you, whereas ads contained in a box makes you feel more like a browser at a shop. You can click on the ad, or not if you choose to; rather than say, have a salesperson have a go at you the moment you step into the shop. Hope I make sense.

I like the old one... looks professional
