Okay I'm on neopets, though I only play the stock market these days. So here are a few things from my celebrating 40 months point of view.

1. Remember that neopets was originally created for people who are in their 20s or above and many adults still play it. Keep your content fun and colorful but not too childish - expect that anyone reading your site will most likely be thirteen or older.

2. You must put a neobutton on your site - if someone who is not on neopets is impressed by your site and wants to join make it easy for them by including a button (and the neopoints and free stuff you get when they join through the link you provide doesn't hurt you either).

3. Everyone covers games - and there's nothing wrong with that but try posting about something less commonly covered. If you keep up on the latest competitions perhaps you could write a neosports column, if you are artistic and good at coding you could offer original pet page and user look up layouts. If you are up to date with neopets vocabulary you could offer explanations of certain words players might encounter (such as nOOb and newb - which contrary to popular belief do not mean the same thing).

4. Give advice on what not to do - there are lots of ways out there to make a quick neopoint but most of them will get your account disabled. People would be willing to read about why they shouldn't fall for such gimmicks.

5. Have fun - use the site to brag about your own pets. Neopians love a spoiled pet

HELP! For some reason I had 65 visits one day and 10 the next!!! Whats going on!?!?!

Your background looks so much better! But you might need to work on your SEO to get more traffic. All I see as your blog title is Neotimes, think of a few more keywords and include it.
