The basis of my blog is I am writing it as a character from the novel I am working on. I would like some feed back on the posts; Are they interesting? Would you want to read more? etc. etc. Of course what I have so far is in no way all that will be going up. I just want to know if I am headed in the right direction for what am I doing. Here it is I would appreciate some real feedback Thanks. ps. not really worried about the look, I am working on my own design just going with that template for the time being

Okay here is some advice. First of all I would remove all those links in the blogroll. They don't really have anything to do with your site. With regard to the content it is a little hard to understand. One thing I notice is that you need straight off, perhaps, at the top of the blog an explanation of the basis behind the blog, namely that you are writing from the point of view of one of your novel's characters. Perhaps a little bit more explanation on the About page would be good too. The other thing is that just reading the posts, especially reading them backwards from latest to the first I don't really understand what has happened in the story, I just get a few glimpses. My suggestion would be to post along two lines: Post your current working text of the story, from the narrator's point of view. Post your character's take on what is happening in the story. Link between each section so that readers can experience both. If you are planning to publish your novel someday and are worried about releasing chapters online I wouldn't be so concerned. Your works are protected by copyright when you publish them on your blog, and in addition you may receive valuable feedback from your readers. If or when you reach a point where you have published the book you can simple take the book's chapters down off the blog and leave the character's posts. Then you can use the blog to promote sales of your book. Anyway, that's just an idea. Also you need to provide clear links to the beginning of the story. The problem with blogs is that they are designed to be read from the latest post back, whereas a novel is designed to be read from the earliest chapter forward. So you'll need to link between the sections with clear links that say "Next Chapter" or "Next" and "Previous Chapter" or "Previous" as well as provide readers with an easy way of going to the first and the last sections. As far as the look goes I like it. It looks interesting and you have an unique blog so far. Keep it up!

I agree with a number of Nathan's suggestions. However, I would say that what you have written is very interesting, and does have potential. I would also add that the posts should be just a little longer. I feel like each one I read starts to get me interested in what is going on just as you end the post.
