Please can you let me know how to improve my blog.

I already know that my posts are too long, so while I try and shorten them can you give me some pointers on the tech side of presenting it better - I'm not at all arty or good at the technical side of blogging, so any tips would be greatly appreciated.

my aims -
learn to improve my writing skills.
write stories that not just my direct family will be interested in
one day reach the golden Adsense payout threshold!

I think you're a great writer.

THe template is pretty simple- what I would do is download the free templates that are available. With those you don't have to do any HTML adjusting or anything- it's just ready for you.

I think that your blog is great.

The writing is good, both funny and engaging, and you have a good think going by linking between your posts. That is important because it keeps people moving through your site.

Keep up the good work.

Eventually you might want to get a more personal theme to your blog, rather than just using a builtin Blogger one, but don't stress over it, until you start getting serious traffic.
