Thank you all...I have changed the layout slightly, added more content and redesigned the labels...

I am still waiting for a reason to change the light/dark text/background and why I should switch to wordpress, doesn't it cost money???

The reason why your should change to a white background with dark text is that it looks cleaner and more professional. If you look at 90% of the popular, successful blogs out there they have white backgrounds on their posts.

White is the color of clean paper, and in a way blogging has never fully separated itself from its original paper platform. Blogging is really just publishing, and people still like books and magazines published on white paper.

One of the best ways to make a successful blog is to imitate successful magazines and newspapers.

Anyway, just my thoughts.

Your blog looks pretty good. The biggest thing you need to work on is the header. Your current header is very.....

....blogger.

If you work on creating a more Wordpress style header like the one I have at Experiment Garden or Inkweaver Review (URL's in my signature) then it will make your blog look much better.
