Why Is This Popular? Review please!

My friend and I fairly recently set up a blog called Why Is This Popular?. I'd love to hear some opinions; ways you think we could improve. It's a very opinionated site, but for the sake of being funny. Thanks!

OK Some of the stuff was down and out funny - and a bit opinionated.

Your layout is nice - but you should do more spellchecking prior to posting (first major spelling error was on coffee.... *grin*)

I like that the two of you are both writing together - that feels like a very good set up and you two seem to compliment each other well.

I think you should open up a Question and Answer --- like a Dear Maria, Margo...

And with the attitude back - your answers could be very quippy.

I didn't like the one BLACK comment - because it felt VERY VERY racist. And coming from 2 females that are exceedingly NOT black, it looked pretty bad.

You have to be careful on some things. You'll have to learn what is acceptably funny - and what is UNCOMFORTABLE.

I wish you two the best of luck!

Maybe change from the light pastel Yellow to something way more splashy.

I'll talk to my friend about changing that one picture; the reason she put that is because we both find it irritating how MTV almost invariably will do shows with one "token" ethnic person and the rest white people. There's also the fact that Devyn was totally uninteresting, but that's another story

We are changing the banner; no worries. It's just taking a little bit because we want it to look really good before we put it up.

I think you are on to something with this. I like to cocept and I read a couple of posts and the content is really good. I agree with you about Dr. Phil. I hate him with a passion! Good luck with it.
