MelonBytes - The Experience Encyclopedia

I've recently finished the development of a community blog web site called MelonBytes (http://www.melonbytes.com). The site allows users to read, write and share experiences from their lives. All experiences are automatically placed on the author's own personal profile page (created automatically when you sign up for a free account). Although the site is still quite new, I hope to add personal feeds and more for each user's profile page so their readers can subscribe.

I would very much like to hear what you think! - If you have a blog currently, I think you may dig the site.

That's an interesting idea! You should create some kind of sidebar to navigate by category or something, though, maybe. I don't know, there just seems to be a need to organize a little better. I like the overall look, though, and I love the idea!

I have the site categorized by category and author at the top (under the browse menu), although I've been thinking it may not be as visible as it should be. Your constructive criticism is very much appreciated, and confirms what I've been pondering!

The Random experience Function is a fabulous way to just browse through other people's lives.

Thank you for the kind words WagerWitch, that's very nice of you to say! It's still in its initial stages, but I will continue to rapidly develop and improve the features and function of the site.

Copyscape is a great idea - it's something I will need to start utilizing more.

Anytime - I do hope that you get this shown off - and eventually sold or made sincerely profitable. This is a GREAT idea.

Bloggeries is a really good promo site here - not only in the forums - but in Bloggeries itself.

If you go to my site (it's a gambling promo site) ignore that part - go all the way down and look at the promo spots. Click on those (little squares) etc.

Get yourself an RSS feed.

Make sure you run through FeedNuts and FeedCat - PLUS - PINGOAT yourself.

You should be in the top at Google with your quality of work - and you should be looking for some SERIOUS sponsorship.

Add polls - add contests - and I think you've got a saleable hit.

Wish I had thought of it.
