Default Desty Online -- Online and Offline Businesses

Evening everyone, my name is Shawn, aka Desty, and I run a blog called Desty Online. We focus on businesses, online and offline, and how to run them better. We mainly work with topics that small businesses can relate to and also investment ideas for businesses. Every once in a while I'll throw in some humor, all work and no play and all that. I have a place in my heart for blogs and bloggers because, really, blogging is a business. Readers are customers.

I'm always open to constructive criticism, I kinda crave it. Mistakes are not bad, not learning from mistakes is bad.

Your blog looks good. You've got a lot of content on there already and some traffic (looks like Andy Beard was there recently). It looks like you're using no-follow tags in all of your posts, is that correct? If so, is there a reason? Just curious.

I'm using a plugin that puts nofollow on everything showing on the front page. The individual pages are normal. I'm doing this to try and cut out the leaking of "link juice" for the PR update.

I've been at this since May and for the most part, have been able to post almost everyday. Everyday is my goal, but doesn't always happen.

That's interesting, I don't think I've seen that plugin before.

Thanks!

I put a long weekend into the blog to get it to where it is. I still do minor changes about once a week. For example, I entered into the main index and single post templates the subscribe via email. There's always new plugins that add something you never thought of. Never be content with your blog, always be on the lookout to make it better!

BTW, here's that plugin NoFollow From Home
