Default WordPress Guides For The Geek Impaired

Yes another blog about blogging! This all happened by accident a few months ago. I installed WordPress on my first website about work at home opportunities, like the Internet needs another one of those huh? Anyway the guy who has helped me from the very beginning asked me to do a WP blog for him and after I did his he suggested that I install optimized blogs as a service.

As the simple questions started coming in from clients I started posting guides on my Work at Home Business blog and it started turning into a WordPress blog, so I decided to launch a dedicated WordPress blog.

So WordPressMax.com was launched about a month ago, dedicated to WordPress Guides For The Geek Impaired. WordPress Max was intended to be a very simple straight forward site for those looking for the basics about blogging with WordPress. I have a list of posts between the two blogs that cover almost every option and plugin that needs configured when I install a new blog that I send to a client after I setup their blog. Eventually all these instructions will be moved to WordPress Max, and are being compiled into PDF.

WordPress Max's simple gray, easy to navigate theme is intentional as to not overwhelm the newbie blogger. Recently added is a "Ask WordPress Max" page where readers are encouraged to ask questions and, if deemed reasonable, the answer will become a post with a mention and links to the bloggers site.

One more thing that I reluctantly mention is the power of WordPress setup and used correctly. WordPressMax.com is only a month old, Google WordPress Guides, and see what I mean!

_xhan, The problem I have with WP codex and the WP.org forum is the arrogance. I mean, do they really want to help anyone who can't speak PHP.

They are the main reason I started my blog :Wordpress Guides

I agree lots of places once they get established seem to forget how they became who / what they are... They did it by helping others!

First let me say thanks for joining the forum!

Alright I really like this blog and even more I like the detailed description you wrote. I think anyone interested in the topic would visit this blog after reading the description. Furthermore it's great for search engines.

Well your blog is helpful and I think it's going to go along way. Let's get serious the reason you found was KidQuick was helping one of our members and linked to your site as a great resource explaining a solution to the problem.

Thanks for taking the time to signup and show us your blog and of course welcome to the community!

omg they are terrible but at at the same time I understand PHP..I cant write it but I understand it. Mostly though they direct people to the codex anyway which is quite funny!

Its getting more confusing on the forums now with all the versions of WP! Its so annoying cos now I have to change my WP tutorials!

Yeah, a part of me doesn't like the WP Forums, they're not much help at times.

Luckily, I deal with WP all the time at work.

Awesome site btw
