Hello, I would like a blog review. Specifically, I am looking for ways to improve my blog so it will get more traffic, be easier to read, and more visually appealing.

I'm not sure I like the banner picture. It looks a bit squashed.
Also, not sure if I'm a fan of it being left of centre, it looks a bit awkward there (but I'm certainly no expert) When I'm rapidly dropping entrecards and stopping by a site every so often to read and perhaps comment, this one does not please the eye and I'd likely move on.

This is the first time I ever post on a topic like this, reviewing someone's blog that is. Having said that...
On a first look, after reading through a few posts, it seems to me that your niche isn't very well defined. I see reviews for all sorts of books. Thinking of myself as an example, if I'm a fan of some specific genre like science-fiction let's say, and perhaps you did review a couple of SF books on your blog, but I'm not going to subscribe, thinking that I might get too many articles that don't interest me. Also, I feel the same as Tambo about the header image - it's not very appealing. To increase readership, many people suggest becoming active in some niche communities. Not sure if you do that already or not, in your case it would be finding some book forums and posting good comments there, maybe writing some good posts and publishing them on established niche blogs. I don't use blogspot so I'm not sure how that works, but I think any blogger that is "serious" about blogging should get their own domain name and host. You could use Wordpress (it's not popular for nothing) - there are literally thousands of free themes you can choose from. I hope this helps. Ion.

From a readers perspective, there is a TON of text on the page - it might be too busy for some, and that could turn them off. Also, you might want to reduce the number of posts that are displayed.
