Default My first vlog. Would like some input

Well, I decided to do a video blog post, its on making regular, off-site backups. I found some real simple software for it, and a service which lets you get 2gb of space on their servers for free. They've got a few other offerings which I'll be playing with and making videos for in the next week or so.

Anyway, I was hoping some of you could take a look at the video and tell me what you think. I know the sound quality isn't great, it had a weird buzzing in the background that I had to get rid of, and you can hear the artifacts from that still in the final version. Other than that, are there any problems with it?

In particular, I was wondering, does it seem terribly unpolished? I did the entire thing in two runs (well, 3, the first time it didn't record right), the first run I recorded it, and then recorded the audio while watching it the second time. Would you think it would be more interesting (and more importantly, more interested in downloading the software) if it was more polished, or was the more casual attitude I took with it better?

EDIT- Doh. Forgot the link. How to make good backups.

I think the key to doing these things are to just do it. Getting over the hump is the hardest part.

Once you've done it, you can look at what you've created. You've already recognized some of the problems with sound and video quality, so you know what to address the next time you do it.

In a nutshell, I think doing things like this are more informative than what can be provided with text. Moreover, it sets you apart from everyone else.

I'd keep doing it and look to make incremental changes with each one you make.
