Sexuality Now - Viral Video Attempt after studying for our exam

My roommate / classmate David Pegg (dpizzle) and I decided to memorize some of the facts by making a viral video about our Exam on Human Sexuality. We are taking this class at University of Florida.

The video was made without any cameraman other than just us two except for the last scene where we had to bother people who were walking around to have them make a video of us. This is a rough edition and it was done with no planning what so ever. (Otherwise we would have our own camera man)

Funny, how long did it take to prep this and was it filmed in HD or in the current format?

Well Rob,

We went to the library studied there for about 4.5 - 5 hours .... Because I read these in the book while I was reading ... I marked the pages than I copied them in a separate paper with the page numbers and showed David (my friend)....

Luckily I had my camera .. (this is just a normal digital camera) nothing fancy... hence why a crappy quality of video .. I am sure a better video camera would've done a better job ...

All to all it took us another 45mins - 1 hour to make this video roughly after the exam ... i copied the files from the camera to the laptop ... and just put it together in windows movie maker .... Didn't edit much because I am not good at stuff like that.

I am glad you like it .. We will be doing more of this stuff in the next school year ... It shall be fun will keep you updated

Pretty cool. I'm curious though did you have to modify the video at all to go on youtube? like how big a file is it? Could I upload say a 1G file to youtube?

Well these are the guideliens of youtube

About uploading...
Uploads usually take 1-5 minutes per MB on a high-speed connection, and converting your video takes a few minutes.

Your video is limited to 10 minutes and 1024 MB.

So this means yes you can upload a 1GB File, but the movie above is only 37MB...


What happens is that when I make it with my digital Camera it is in .mov format which takes alot of space ... It would've originally take like 102 MB but than I used a web converter online that converts movie formats to other formats ... and converted all the different parts of this video to WMA, and then opened it in windows movie maker and saved it as I was saving on my computer not web format because movie maker will make the quality even worst...

You can use windows movie maker to add sound and put where each clip go in the movie ... and than just save it as a .wmv file and youtube supports this format .. youtube supports .avi also and .mov too but .mov are usually large files

so yes you can upload 1gb of video but it will take you TOO LONG to upload it ...

oo nothing special just googled .mov to .wmv online converters

it takes a while to convert all different files maybe when I launch my site I will buy some software....
