Here is my first attempt to incorporate video into my site. It isn't podcasting per se, but it is a step above my normal "daily photo".

Give me your thoughts and feedback.

I really like it and you timed it wonderfully with the boat going through. Do you know what resolution that was filmed in and how did you get it web ready while maintaining such quality? I film in HD and a ~1.5 minute clip ~750 megs!

Either way I really like the idea of a moment of time in the set destination. Looking forward to other ones.

I currently use a Sanyo Xacti HD 1000. I shot that clip in 1080i, but there are serious problems with the HD 1000 1080i mode and using it on a Mac. It took me forever to make that clip. I'm shooting in 720p now, and the workflow is much easier.

This camera doesn't use tape and saves everything to MP4. 90 seconds is about 100mb.

I just did a few more of the Great Barrier Reef and a big waterfall.
