You know, I hate to make my first post look like a promo for myself BUT! I was out looking for a forum, lo and behold this post shows up so I had to post.

My blog happens to be on podcasting, so check it out if you want tips from technical aspects (mic and equipment) to software recommendations to driving traffic etc...

The Podcasting Blog

BTW, does this forum seem kinda slow?

I have this dilemma too, plus, it's really difficult to get decent sound quality without spending some serious money. Having a podcast with bad sound is sure to make mos people turn off.

I finally started up a podcast using a service called Talkshoe the show is called WordPress Weekly. Because of the podcast, my blog which is associated with the show has seen a large increase in links. Whats nice about doing a podcast that features interviews is that, the person being interviewed usually writes a post about the podcast, and the bigger the personality, the more popular the blog, the better the link. Asides from that, I enjoy doing these shows about WordPress and interviewing those people out there who are using WordPress in creative ways. I'm learning something new with every episode.
