For those voting Republican this year...

Why? McCain could have been a good candidate like 10 years ago, but he is getting old now and there are some newspapers that are uncomfortable with him being in office. And if something happens to him (I do not wish this at all) than the crazy Alaskan chick will be president.

I'm not a dem or a republican, but I'm going with Obama. He may be inexperienced but he isn't an angry man that would have his finger on the button. He goes around talking about Obama's "association" with Bill Ayers and ACORN even though McCain has been associated with a lot of bad people too. First of all, he was the headliner at an ACORN conference in 2006.

There have been other terrorist like people McCain has been associated with too. First of all, the whole Keating scandal. Does he forget that he was one of the five senators that were accused of corruptions in 1989? Check out this article on the Keating Five.

And Palin was only picked because McCain wanted to get the womens vote. He felt that those women who loved Hilary Clinton would vote for him because he picked Palin. Is he really that naive? She says she is a reformer but was found that she did violate the ethics laws in Alaska. Is this really a reformer? And besides, she has less experience than Obama. Obama's running mate Biden has a ton of experience.

There are also a ton of videos of racist people at the McCain/Palin rallies. Calling Obama an arab and a nigger. I don't really want these people picking our president. First of all, Obama isn't arab and even if he was middle eastern, so what?! He would have to be born in the United States to run for president. McCain was born in Panama. Yeah, it was on an army base but he technically wasn't born in the states either! And this 2008 and Obama is have black and half white. Wouldn't this be the best person to be in the white house?!

Some people I have spoken to want to vote Obama because people they know are... Therefore making them "cool".

I would prefer people vote for a candidate for the right reasons.
