I'm so excited!

I finally get my own laptop! I've been having to use my husband's... and he run's his own business out of the house. So I have to wait until he's not busy to tear it away from him, or use the computer at work, like I am now. But I ordered on last night for myself. I'm so excited! Here's what I got:

For the price I think I got a good system. I couldn't afford much more... Besides, I don't do a lot of media stuff. Anyway, I wanted to share my excitement...

Looks like you got a good deal! I wish I had 3 gigs of RAM. I only have 1 gig. I sold my desktop about 3 years ago for my laptop and it was one of the best things I did.

Looks good!!! I'm with cjharley on the RAM. I can't believe it has that much for that price. I bought mine not too long ago and I'm not even sure how much RAM it has(I know less) and it wasn't as good a deal.

Nice work and enjoy. Make sure you get a mouse though if you're using it often as the micro movements of the a laptop mouse aren't good long term for the hands.

I've been using Vista on my husbands computer for about a year and a half now. Now that we have been getting the updates, and now that I've had time to get used to it, I like it. The only thing that sucks about it is the sound recorder protection. My husband works in the record industry and one of the programs he uses on his laptop is Adobe Audition and he can't record sounds off of the internet anymore like he could with XP. But overall I really like it - especially the new Excel.

I'm glad you guys think I got a good deal. I always like to run things by other computer people to make sure...

Yay! I got my own laptop when I started college and I can't imagine how I was ever without one. I love it (it's a Macbook Pro).

Thanks It came yesterday! I've finally gotten it all set up and today me and the hubby went to Best Buy and had to buy a wireless router so we could both be online at the same time. We just finished getting that all set up, so I'm finally all good to go! I love it! It's really light, and it's blue and flowery! I'm still working on getting all of my Firefox add ons set up and finding all of my bookmarks, but I'll get there...
