Getting drunk has never been so exotic. Ruined it for myself through over-indulgence at the Pamplona Bull Run this year, which was absolutely terrifying under the influence. There is actually a video of me - albeit more of a swarm - on my blog.

As for booze - give me a Bombay Sapphire/Tanqueray and cranberry/tonic, or a good catholic whisky, like a Jameson's. Whilst I generally avoid the sweetness of bourbon, I do like Old Rip van Winkle. White Russians, Irish Car Bombs, Argentinian Maté, Brazilian Cachaca, Greek Ouzo, Czech Absinthe or a nice English Ale (like Hobgoblin) have all given me torrid times in the past - particularly whilst travelling. Waking up with one shoe, grazed elbows and wrapped up in a strangers curtain in a Hungarian hostel was a low point.

At university, we endevoured to drink something from every country on the map. Could be one of the reasons why I don't remember failing the second year. Who knows.
