Wordpress or B2Evolution

Hello. Before anybody shouts at me, let me clear that I am myself a big fan of wordpress, so much that I've never tried any other blogging solutions. I've googled with this post title, but I thought I'll save some time if somebody has already researched this. I am making a game-related blog for someone, and wanted to know what is the best solution in terms of game plugins availabilty. I explored Joomla's mojoblog component, since it's based off wordpress and Joomla! has quite a few game modules/components, but it is not widget-supported yet. Ideas welcome. Thanks.

Since WP is now the most popular blog platform, I think it is the platform of choice for most situation.

If you can develop your own widgets, you may even contribute to the community. Otherwise, WP will certainly catch up and surpass others.

(I use b2evolution a few years ago before WP, but never returned when I've stumbled on WP)

I guessed so. Are you aware of any bridges or integrations of wordpress to other cms. I might explore those cms' as a combination option. Thanks

Wordpress it is. I don't know, but it might interest someone - I am experimenting with a MyBB wordpress bridge; since MyBB has a game mod, I think I'll opt for wordpress as the main domain with MyBB as the sub folder. Thanks to all for replying
