There isn't an edit signature option unless you are an established member.

Established = 10 posts. Making it difficult for people here for the wrong reasons. Anything that makes spamming more difficult is good for the good guys.

Took me forever (and finally finding this thread) to realize you could not edit signature without 10 posts. I think it's a good policy but maybe it deserves a sticky somewhere?

I myself didn't find out one could edit onces signature til I already had something in excess of the minimum postings, so was unaware of that restriction----anyway glad you finally qualified and got your signature to your liking. Yes I agee the powers that be that run the bloggeries should put up a sticky instructing the newcomers of this feature and when it is available to them. (hint hint ??)

I think it should be included in a general welcoming given to those that register with the bloggeries forum, advising them of the customizing of one's signature once once has "earned" the priveledge after a minimum of ten posts. I only learned of it via somebody mentioning it could be done and giving directions to where and how---otherwise would have remained ignorant of the feature. Or just a plain old sticky titled "signature customization Bonus for Newbies"

I agree it should be within the welcome area. I think you should have it's own thread about it.

I know I was looking to add my signature and spent some time looking. Until I did a search and saw I needed to have at least 10 posts.

I do think having a certain amount of posts is a great way to stop spamers from just adding a one liner. they have to be interactive in the forum.
