So I was checking out one of my favorite social media networks today and came across this story:

Check the SPHINN page and look at the comments where Matt Cutts throws in that he promises blogs are still in good standing. When I read the article I was like ok this by no means is an indicator that google has stopped liking blogs but always good to hear the big guy confirm.

Google doesn't like my blog anymore. I lost pagerank and I'm not sure why, though I still get traffic on obscure topics.

Good to hear this however it seems many have losted PR in the last September 2008 update.

That has nothing to do with google not liking your blog. Remember at each moment their are thousands or millions of new websites. It is kind of like a pyramid so it only makes sense the more blogs/sites out there the HARDER it becomes to climb the ladder above the rest.

Don't worry about a slight PR decrease; just be happy that you still have PR and are in the good books of all the engines. That's what is important.
