Whats the best way to "Grow" one's blog?

To clarify- Adsense is a program which in which Google sells you their ads to put on your website.

AdWords is a program in which YOU buy adspace from google and they put your ad on google's search results.

I use both. Adwords is set at a 50 dollar a month budget (you set your own budget) and it has just about doubled my traffic. In some cases, quadrupled.

I was just about to say Adsense will not get you traffic but AdWords will.

I use Entrecard and it generates some traffic, this is probably worthless as 90% of the people will leave after dropping their card and not read anything.

Does anyone get much use out of entrecard or another system like it?

There are a bunch of sites that blog about blogging and usually have a ton of information on getting your blog out there. I will post a few of them here.

First of all, if you haven't read problogger than you should. Darren has some of the best information you can read about blogging, making money from your blog, and promoting it.

This article has links to 83 articles that every blogger must read. I've read only about 20% of them so far, but read a new one just every day.

Another post that might of help is one from Daily Blog Tips. This article has the top 25 blogs about blogging. All of them will have information about promoting your blog and gaining more readers. Check those sites out.

Thanks for this one, Peter. Totally missed it; I must sniffed too much of the house paint I guess.

Now, if only I can figure out why my Wordpress site still shows the individual links to Stumble Upon, etc. at the end of each post on our site. I can't find how to turn it off for the life of me.
