One quick suggestion...add an email subscription option. If you have it, I couldn't find it. More people will sign up for email delivery, as your audience is probably made up of non-techie types. Grab our RSS Feed isn't the best enticement either.

Possibly you might also want to try guest posting. That is a great way to get your name out there. Don't be afraid to approach the bigger names in your niche, either. All they can do is say no, but they just might say okay.

Be sure to leave comments (non-spammy, well thought out ones) on other blogs. If you contribute constructively to the discussion, you will entice people to click on your name to see what else you have to say. I still get traffic from skelliewag's post on using images in your posts. I left a comment there explaining how to use the blog this feature in Flickr, with an example of how it works linked to one of my posts. Occasionally those visitors even check out other posts.
