Places to Troll

I'm thinking about turning The Other MMO into a blog about trolling. I'll be creating a personality, and spending some amount of time roaming the internet trying to drum up trouble as a troll. Then, I'll come back and post about it, taking it a seriously as possible. The goal is more or less to make a blog that resembles the Colbert Report, but instead of being about news being the adventures of a troll.

The centerpoint, and guiding philosophy for the blog can be summed up in this comic:





Anyway, I'm hoping to have some fun with it, and I hope to make the entire thing rather amusing. The only thing, which I would need some help with, is I need a few entry points. Places to start my trolling. I also could use some help with a username. I'm working on a personality for my troll, but I haven't come up with even the start of a username, so I could use some help with it all.

I can't really think of any places to troll. You can try some Diablo 3 forums and post about the graphics (there's a HUGE debate going on about them. It's quite pitiful, to be honest. Just read a few of the other posts on it and you'll get the idea).

I've got the perfect place for you, Craigslist.com. It's full of flaggers, post anything they don't agree with and BAM!!, it's gone a half second later. They have forums on Craigslist, and it's not to hard to find the flaggers.The first time I heard the word "Troll" was here, it's a great place for some Trolling...

Skolor - I'd say if you're gonna be a troll don't be a lame troll be a cool troll who is controversial yet backs w/ facts and never makes personal attacks; ever. That could be fun; the flip side is just another troll and I love that photo coz that is how most feel when typing back to a troll

A troll... with facts? I dont think trolling works that way. Who knows, maybe this could work, we'd call it trolling 2.0 or maybe a catchier name like 'reasonable argument'

Try the allakhazam forums. They are self moderated so be prepared to get rated down quickly.

Gah, I hate trolls! I work on too many forums that involve a younger crowd that doesn't understand that you shouldn't feed the trolls.....so it leaves me with hours (sometimes days) of constant moderating, deleting, locking, and warning regulars to leave the troll alone so it'll go away, lol. Have fun with that....but I will 'not' be sending you to places to troll, ha.
