My traffic is close to a hundred on an average. My goal is to have a minimum of 1000 visits per day^^

Today was my highest, around 120, triple the previous highest. I suspect it's because I wrote about the cruise credit card I got today. Just mention those two magic words and you get a huge boost (temporary of course) of traffic.

The first day I started putting my blog up, google reported I had 90 page impressions I was ecstatic! didn't occur to me until I checked awstats that it was of course me generating all the impression lol... <sigh>

On June 5, I had 5109 visits to a site about haunted lighthouses. The great majority were from Yahoo. I haven't figure out what that was all about yet, because the normal count on that site and blog is about 40 a day, with a few exceptions.

On that day I also saw 505 visits to Lighthouse News. That normally gets about 150-200 per day.

The only thing I can think of was that was the day that a lighthouse was found across the country that had thought to been destroyed. But why go to haunted lighthouses, unless Yahoo had a link on their news page?

Still, it was nice. I took a screen shot of that day.

My most traffic in one day was 940 unique visitors.

for new blog like yours.. try submitting your site to different directories.. social bookmarking can also help your site..

there are lots of ways to do.. and you can learn different things just by browsing this forum..
