From what I've read, the consensus is that an in-text ad performs best, followed by a skyscraper (120x600) in the left column.

I found that ad unit located in between blogs posts and the one at the top always get the most clicks. The one that perform the worst is usually the bottom ad units.

For me, an ad just below the post title and one just after the last line of the post perform extremely well.

I agree with Sock Yee: I have one "above the fold" right below the masthead and then one inbetween posts. I've heard the a square in the text works the best, but I don't like the way they look so I have not tried them.

My best performing ad is the 5 link adsense box right above my first post. The generated text seems to catch people's attention (or they mistaken it to be part of my site...)

ya thanks for the info from the opinion i get from other post if you have ads above your blog then people get discouraged and just leave your page.. instead of reading your content...

I tend to leave sites that have ad boxes with their content wrapping around it since they are unimaginably annoying (example: https://www.google.com/adsense/stati...Rectangle.html) |
