I'm trying to organse fundraising events at college, and one of the things we are considering is a poker night, but I know nothing about poker! All I know about poker I learnt from watching Casino Royale. So if there are any poker players out there, I'd like to know what you think of this setup? - People pay money to play, determined by what the prizes are - There are a selection of prizes, and the winner gets first choice, runner up gets second choice, etc - Novelty prizes for things like 'best hand', 'most buyin' and so forth - Players can buy back in and get half the number of starting chips. - There's a 'just for fun' table, but those players still have a shot at the novelty prizes that are applicable, such as 'best hand'. Thoughts?
