How Many Blogs Do You Own?

I am starting to get worried about myself :lurk-2:
With the blog I just bought, I now have 5 blogs I manage actively, 3 that I get to every now and then, and I don't know how many free ones out there. Plus a few squidoo lenses. A year ago I didn't have any.

I am not making enough money to pay for my coffee so I know I that's not why I am blogging!

If I had a real job I wouldn't have any time for sleep!

Any other addicts out there? Is there a support forum?

Of all the hobbies and things you can do on this planet to pass time I can't think of anything I'd rather be doing then being active in the blogosphere. I love it and obviously you do as well .

5 is alot but it all depends on your focus, effort, time and of course interest. If you start feeling overpowered leave some of the less important ones sleep for a while. Just don't get burnout!

I have this forum, homebiz, bloggerites which never gets touched. It's weird how I don't always make blog posts but I'll probably type 2 pages of text daily in numerous forum posts.

LOL.

I think balance is what it's all about. I know people who spend so much time on forums they get no work done. Others who spend so little time on forums they are never in the loop and waste so much time discovering / trying things they could of easily gotten an answer from someone who has done it.

I have only one one at the moment. But I'm planning to open more because I see how my first blog getting traffic. I like that. I will create some to support other sites I have, I will forward traffic.

Umm, I have 15. I don't write to all of them every week but do usually get new posts to several of them every month, and a small number every week. There are some I only post to when it's necesssary as they're connected to websites and I use the blogs as announcement services for the subscribers. One blog I post to 3 times a week.

1 for my wife
1 for my brother
2 for outside business clients
and 4 for myself. some of which I don't have time to write on often (see above)

So that's 14

Total domain names owned 42

I wasn't focussed on traffic at all inatmo for any of my blogs initially. I had a topic I wanted to write about and felt blogging was the best way to do it. These days I do track my traffic to see where it's coming from and like any blogger, I love receiving comments - I love the interaction with my readers. But since I'm not directly earning an income from the blogs I haven't worried about that aspect - I write because I love to write and I have many topics of interest.
