Do You Have Facebook and Do you Show Your Blog?

Since I just recently made a new facebook application that displays your RSS and # of subscribers (optional) I thought I'd ask who here has facebook?

Also who here would display their blog and if so are you already?

I have my blog listed as a website of mine on FB. I used the Wordpress app until we went the self-hosted route a few months ago. We get quite a bit of traffic - I've just installed your app (I like!) and I'm sure you'll get 4 more installations shortly...

I did have facebook specifically to show my blog, but it got no results and resulted in social dis-harmony so I deactivated my account there.

I just recently made Quirky a facebook and once I get more than a few minutes to myself, I plan to start adding all my blogging buddies. I'll have to look at your application again once I get it off the ground.

Basically, my friends all stopped talking to me because they assumed I was keeping up to date with Facebook. Since deactivating my account there, I'd have 4 phone calls and 2 party invites in 2 days, which I otherwise would have missed. People are becoming too dependant on facebook and are assuming their real events are being ignored, rather than people not recieving the invite.

I actually hate Facebook as well. My personal facebook has had the same message since I signed up....which is something to the effect of how much I hate facebook and I only check it when some annoying facebook addict sends me a message and I'm forced to sign in to see it....along with how they should email me or contact me in another way if they expect me to actually hear of something. People assume everyone is on facebook and I'm actually quite shocked that you got those phone calls and invites because most people 'I' know, wouldn't even bother....if you're not on facebook, screw you, lol. Needless to say, I don't go out much because I don't check all that crap. I only have one because my uni is quite reliant on it and I've had people contact me about assignments and such that they wouldn't have otherwise done. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who despises the place.

That being said, I got Quirky one because well, 'tons' of people have one, and I thought that maybe what I despised on my personal account was something my blog account could actually tap into. We'll see, though, right?

Right on! Stay tuned for another one I have made; I'm just waiting until I get back from a trip and we're on a dedicated server to release it and to really start promoting this one.
