Internet Marketing Motivation

Is it just me or does your Internet Marketing Motivation vary from day to day? Some days I could just plug away for ever, other days the slightest task seems like a mission impossible?

That being said I still manage to do everything that needs to be done but how do you keep your motivation up and keep it fun?

I keep motivated by walking away from the computer for a little while and clearing my mind. I will go for a walk or sit outside on a nice day.
Do you work from home? If so, you could go to somewhere else and work with a laptop.
I have taken my laptop to Panera and little coffee shops to work. It is a change of scenery and environment, which can help too.
The team I work with is highly motivated. We have a lot of fun in the office, which gives us a break. We have a Nintendo Wii in the office and Nerf guns that we shoot darts at each other with.

Hmmmm Where do you work and are you hiring? I typically play Tiger Woods 08 everyday at lunch with forum member YusefStiles.

I find it important to hit the tasks that need to be done FIRST because it's easy to get into the routine of checking sites that don't need to be checked... Imagine if you used EVERY CLICK of the mouse in a productive way for one day...

I cracked up when I read your post! I found out at lunch today that we were nominated one of the best places to work in Orlando.

Because I have a few distinct "identities" and places that I actually market for, I tend to take a break from one and head to another to hang out for a while. Yeah, I'm still online, but it breaks up the monotony and puts me with different people for a bit.

If I absolutely don't have motivation to work on 'anything', then ....I guess I go get food, lol. It forces me away from the computer and it generally puts me on the phone with someone because I'll walk and talk. I usually feel refreshed after getting less "strictly computer screen" interaction with people and can pick up a new task.

I have a few different duties, so it does take me away from it from time to time. You can get blog burnout though, I think, like anything in moderation! Except Beer! Thats good in excess! No..that wasn't my problem with the RSS Feed!

Honestly, I get a little tired of trying to market, half the times I just want to sleep! But someone told me "Jay, you need to give up your social life to make money..." and I replied, " Oh, HEEEELLLLLLLLL NAH!"

Yet, I've seen my social life cut back a lot since I freakin' added custom banner designs to my crap!

Wait, what was the original question again? Oh, motivation, yea... um, I just have spur of the moments and the times when I don't, I sleep LOL!

It's true but for the most part I don't mind. Like if I went to go chill with some friends now they'd be doing the same stuff they do everyday. Don't get me wrong when I want to chill that is where I go but I try to do as much work as possible. Money gets better with age. Earn 1000 in March (Nice work Jay) and that's worth a lot more then earning 1000 in march 2015...

Also to some extent working on websites is a hobby and payment is a plus

I'm usually pretty motivated, but when it lags, I usually hop over and work on a different web project. I always have one or the other projects going in some stage of completion.

A long list of house chores will always motivate me to go back the computer too.

I do whatever I can in the short time that I am online each day, but there is a routine I guess. I have many projects, but they are prioritized. The more time I spend online, the further down the list I can get.

I find myself seeing marketing in EVERYTHING that I see and do, even when away from my computer. It gives me motivation to get back online and try some things out.
