Here is something a little off-beat but certainly an interesting concept. Nmap.org (makers of the popular Nmap security software) have scanned the web and made a poster out of the favicon's it found. What is interesting about this is that the size of the icon on the poster is proportional to the traffic the website gets. You can take a look at what they came up with right here - Nmap Favicon Map The lowest traffic sites are displaying traditional 16x16 favicons, so you just imagine how big some of the icons are for the higher traffic sites. This tidbit came to me from one of the daily emails I get. Hope you get a little amusement out of it. |

Wow, that's a rather interesting map. I'm kinda surprised they didn't take the time to fix some of the obvious flaws in it, though.
