A big decision will be whether you want to focus on a specific niche or a more general/personal blog kind of thing.

Do you have a preference?

What you don't want to do is just write something that you think people will like if your aren't passionate about the cause.

Hi there! When I started my blog I ran out of things to blog about. So I picked a topic that I can write regularly for - like a TV series (ex: American Idol). It's a great way to write on a weekly basis - and it always gives you something to write about every week. Hope you find this advice useful. It certainly got me started. ;-)
